Austal cuts jobs
Shipbuilders Austal has cut over 100 jobs at its shipyard in Western Australia. One hundred and nine workers were told last week that their jobs had been axed due to the company experiencing financial difficulties. The global economic crisis has led to a downturn in orders in shipyards around the world.
