B.C. Premier Christy Clark and Alberta Premier Ed Stemlach should team up in Ottawa to press the West's case for a major federal shipbuilding contract, says former Esquimalt MP Keith Martin. Alberta can benefit from a West Coast win in federal shipbuilding contracts by supplying high-tech components for ships, which require complex electronic systems, Martin said Tuesday.
