Project manager / Project engineer
Job description
For our technical department we are looking for a hands-on practical project manager / project engineer.Job includes:
- Managing of small projects (e.g. replacing of a lifeboat door) to large projects. (e.g. assistance in docking)
- The most part of the job will be spent in preparation in the office and then on site managing the people as the ships owners representative.
- Practically it means that about 40% of the time will be on site and about 60% will be in the office.
- The contents of the projects are very diverse and can touch any part of the ship.
- You will have the possibility to specialize as a project engineer in some part of the ships area’s, such as hydraulics, remote control and main engine work.
- This depends on your experience and/or interest.
Part of the job will be to do surveys and repairs on lifeboats and davits as a project engineer. This will start after training in Japan.
