Job description |
| Our client who is an owner/operator in the oil & Gas industries is looking for a Facilities Engineer Structural & Pipeline. Location is The Hague, the Netherlands. It will be a staff position to start asap. Remuneration is competitive. The S&P Engineer belongs to the Facilities Engineering team, part of the Operations department, which is responsible for the successful operation of 8 platforms on the Dutch continental shelf. You will take care of general facility engineering, initiating and implementing modifications, upgrades or repairs to existing offshore facilities, i.e. processing equipment and platforms. Including feasibility studies, technical engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning and start-ups. You provide support for Preventive Maintenance and Reliability process equipment. Acting as focal point for all (above surface) technical production issues you provide support to offshore crews specific to day-to-day operations. To your specific responsibilities belong development, coordination and supervising inspections to obtain/maintain (re)certification for offshore structures, pressure vessels, piping systems and pipelines (onshore & offshore), to meet statutory requirements. You coordinate and supervise underwater diving/ROV inspection and construction activities. Also you provide piping and structural design/engineering support including cost estimates and supervision of contractors. All in compliance with the requirements of Pipeline Management System, to ensure the integrity of pipelines. For this position, you have a university degree (MSc./BSc.) in an engineering discipline, e.g. Mechanical or Civil. Knowledge of PED pressure vessel code and relevant American standards, is an advantage. The successful candidate brings a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in technical roles in the oil/process industry or an engineering firm. Next to fluency in English, you speak Dutch and you are willing to travel and work offshore at times.
