Job description

INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER

Reporting to:
Deputy General Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To support the Line of Business Managers and the Deputy General Manager in achieving the sales targets, supporting the marketing and business development activities in the international markets with international customers.

  • Promote company's ship repair capabilities, both afloat and in the workshop and the services of the specialised divisions namely Turbocharger repairs and gearboxes with customers in international geographics and with international customers

  • Visit industrial and marine customers to generate inquiries

  • Achieve monthly sales targets

  • Customer liaison throughout the process

  • Liaison with internal departments

  • Generate market information from various media, customers

  • Actively participate in sales meetings, follow up etc.

  • Market studies for new markets

  • Management reporting


PERSON PROFILE

Education
Degree or Diploma in Engineering

Experience
15-20 years in sales, marketing or business development in a marine environment. Should have good network in the marine community and strong networking skills.
