New York Water Taxi is a ferry/tour/charter service in New York Harbor. We operate numerous ferry and tour routes out of New York (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Yonkers) with 57 and 77 ft propeller driven high speed catamerans. 100 ton licenses required.

Job description

Captains are responsible for keeping to a schedule on designated routes, maintaining their vessel, and overseeing the crew. There is a great amount of customer interaction, so any applicants should be people friendly.

We'll need many captains for our high season, which begins April 1st, and will provide training beforehand.
100 ton licenses required. Positions may last year round if interested.
