Framo is leading manufacturer of hydraulically driven cargo pumping systems to the world tanker market.

More than 35.000 Framo submerged cargo pumps are in service aboard over 2200 tankers and in the first coming years another 400 ships will be equipped with Framo cargo pumping systems.

Frank Mohn AS is also leading manufacturer of anti-pollution equipment as well as a wide range of products for the oil and petro-chemical industries.
Anti-heeling systems for container, ferry and heavy lift ships are enclosed in the production package.
Further, Framo has developed a range of self-contained offloading packages that are available for rental from all Frank Mohn offices throughout the world.

Besides The Netherlands, Frank Mohn AS has daughter companies in USA, Singapore, Japan, Korea, China and Brazil.

Total number of employees is presently approx. 1300.

Job description

SERVICE ENGINEER

Duties will be all-round service in way of:

Maintenance and repairs
Trouble shooting
Inspections and training
Assist with portable pumping (off-loading) operations

Work area will be onboard vessels, mainly within Europe and occasionally world-wide, as well as in-house at our premises in Spijkenisse.

Your skills should match:

MBO/HBO education and working level
(Scheepswerktuigkundige)
(Electrotechniek, Werktuigbouw)

With affinity for:

Rotary equipment (pumps, diesel engines, gear boxes)
Control-engineering (hydraulic with electric / electronics)

Further being motivated for travelling with no “ 8 to 5 “ mentality and capable to work as well as independently as group-wise is a must. Experience with maritime environment will be an advantage.
