Job description
Weld back up tape. Flat, overhead and vertical fillet weld. Use a weld fillet gauge. Complete basic weld wraps. ARC gouging. Weld water tight collars. Plate butt welding.Minimum five years commerical/naval experience. Ability to properly use fillet, butt gauges and a six inch scale. Experience working in a physically demanding environment (shipboard, sub-assemblies, ladders, staging, etc).
Pass LH or (MIG) FCAW butt certification (x-ray)
Pass LH or FCAW (Mig) certification weld test.
