Electronics Technician
Job description
Electronic Technicians need for New Orleans area shipyard.Requires 3 or more years experience in the electrical field Marine applications.
- Must be able to interpret drawings and schematics and be familiar with the use of test instruments (volt-ohm meter, clamp on ammeter megger, etc).
- General deck electrician deck work.
- Familiar with power generation, loading center installation, and hook-up.
- Experience with motors and control circuitry.
- Experience with Combat System equipment.
- Experience with installation of multi-pin connectors.
- Experience with fiber optic system installation.
- Familarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry.
- Experience working in a physically demanding environment and confined space.
