Job description

Electronic Technicians need for New Orleans area shipyard.
Requires 3 or more years experience in the electrical field Marine applications.
  • Must be able to interpret drawings and schematics and be familiar with the use of test instruments (volt-ohm meter, clamp on ammeter megger, etc).
  • General deck electrician deck work.
  • Familiar with power generation, loading center installation, and hook-up.
  • Experience with motors and control circuitry.
  • Experience with Combat System equipment.
  • Experience with installation of multi-pin connectors.
  • Experience with fiber optic system installation.
  • Familarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry.
  • Experience working in a physically demanding environment and confined space.
