Job description

Due to growth and expansion of our organization we are looking for an enthusiastic and preferably experienced:

TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT

The place of work will be our base in Bautino, Kazakhstan.

Responsibilities

• The Technical Superintendent (TSI) is responsible for execution and control of the technical management in Kazakhstan.
• The Technical Superintendent reports to the Operations Manager.
• The TSI will be supported for technical back-up/assistance by the Technical Manager.
• Coordinates the technical maintenance of the fleet, in close cooperation with the Chief Engineer of the vessels
• Supervises the procurement, on behalf of our customer, in compliance with the current procurement procedures (for the LQB’s)
• Supervises spare-parts and stores on the Bautino base
• Processes the technical requests from the vessels and provides judgement on their viability and forwards these requests to head office
• Is responsible for calibration management
• Evaluates the Chief Engineers yearly performance of Part C, chapter 6 "Confidential Reports" of the Vessel based HSE S&Q manual
• Is responsible for entering all relevant data into the AVECS program (e.g. requisitions, maintenance registrations, stock control etc…)
• Supports dry docking and projects as and when required and subject to workload

Qualifications

• Certificate B/C or equivalent
• Experienced in maintenance of technical installations on vessel 
• Able to read, write and speak the English language on an excellent level
• Good communicative skills
• Flexible mindset
• Affinity with ICT (AVECS)
