In order to fulfill the increasing demand worldwide for naval vessels, we are expanding our proposal department with a Proposal Engineer Combat Systems.
Key responsibilities
The Proposal Engineer Combat Systems is responsible for the preparation of the Combat System part of commercial proposals for potential clients, in accordance with the requirements set by the client.
A Combat System consists of sensors (radar, sonar), Combat Management Systems, weapons (guns, missiles) and communication systems.
Furthermore the tasks for the Proposal Engineer comprise;
- Combat System design
- Preparation of technical specifications
- Technical and commercial contact with suppliers
- Coordinating the work of technical specialists in preparing the proposal
- Liaison with the Proposal Engineer for the vessel
- Present and discuss Combat System proposals with customers
- Planning of the work
- Contributing to the standardization of the range of combat systems that can be applied
PROFILE
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in electronics or mechanics
- At least 3 years relevant working experience
- Creative and flexible personality combined with a designer's mentality
- A team player with excellent communication skills both verbally as well as in writing
- Knowledge of most common modern languages, but at least English
- Solid analytical mind
- Process-oriented and well-structured both in acting and thinking
- Result driven, with a strong sense of service towards clients and the internal organization.
