EPLAN Administrator & Engineer
As an EPLAN Administrator & Engineer you will have a very dynamic job. You will be our EPLAN Administrator, a role in which you will be responsible for the setup of EPLAN. You will set up new functionalities and continuously work on standardization. Maintaining the system and training and advising your colleagues will happen on a regular basis. In addition you will work on integrating EPLAN with Pre-Planning and Teamcenter.
Partly you will work as an EPLAN Engineer, starting with basic engineering and followed by detailed engineering. You will collect all the necessary technical information and functional specifications needed to successfully design our new vessels. You will make calculations for various onboard systems and produce a wide range of technical documents such as;
- Single-line drawings
- Multi-line drawings of electrical cabinets
- Cable block/cable connection diagrams
- Cabinet layout drawings
- General arrangement plans (lighting, sockets, fire protection, signal columns etc)
- Technical specifications for quotations and purchasing

Our department is responsible for the electrical engineering of the IHC vessels. Each vessel has its own unique challenges. For some vessels we will do the complete engineering scope (power, installation, cable routing) and in other cases we will do only parts of it.
We work in project teams varying between 3 till 20 persons. We are currently looking for a EPLAN Administrator & Engineer to increase our team of 25 (lead) engineers.
What are we looking for:
- You have a Higher vocational education in Electrical engineering and at least three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Marine industry.
- Thorough knowlegde and experience of EPLAN P8
- Excellent communication skills in English & Dutch
